Item Models

For the purposes of SynQ, item models are any true models that are not weapons, the player or monsters. These reside in the progs folder in pak0.pak and pak1.pak, with pak1.pak mostly only containing monsters models.

This includes:

  1. Quad (will be renamed to something else, "Mega Damage?")
  2. Pent (will be renamed to something else)
  3. Ring (will be renamed to something else)
  4. Projectiles (Rockets, Nails and such)
  5. Keycards
  6. Backpacks
  7. Anything else that should have been in this list

Item models can be .mdl or .md3 format, but the goals is to have 100% .mdl if possible and in a way that standard software engines (WinQuake style, non-OpenGL engines) support using all of them.
